February 6th was a day of good news. Jiugang Metal was honored to complete a large order from an important customer from South Africa. 370 tons of stainless steel products have just left Tianjin Port and are expected to arrive at the customer's warehouse in April.
In fact, South Africa is one of the largest stainless steel importers for many stainless steel suppliers in China (including Jiugang Metal), mainly because of the close trade relations between the two countries and the suitable supply conditions. In addition, China has many manufacturers that can take advantage of economies of scale and large inventory levels to meet the production needs of such products at relatively low costs and relatively short delivery times. This is why many buyers from South Africa will consider China as the preferred source country when they have limited budgets but high expectations for delivery dates.
